![]() ![]() Our next plate was a couple of jamon iberico croquettes, which were hot and tasty but nothing special. We ordered patatas bravas, which arrived cold and with a sauce that looked like a layer of mayonnaise drizzled with hot sauce. If I get noise, I would rather have noise from happy and voluble patrons. We sat downstairs and despite the small attendance it was unnecessarily noisy since the waiters slammed empty plates into nearby plastic bins for eventual transfer to their dish-washing facilities. The ambiance was fast-food dilapidated and the service was desultory. It is essentially a basement joint with a small sidewalk eating area, it was under-populated except for a few tourists and the food was overpriced and undistinguished. ![]() It was nowhere near as good as two other tapas places we visited, and much more expensive. We went for Tapas at Tapas 24 (Disputacio location), which appeared in all the “best tapas in Barcelona” reads.
